The Erupt Lake Taupō Festival is an iconic event that started in 1996 with a modest budget and an enthusiastic group of volunteers, and is now the signature arts and cultural event for the Central Plateau area.
We are filling the void between Erupt Festivals by delivering five new arts and cultural events over the next two years under the ‘Erupt Events’ banner.
The new Erupt Events offer diversity, vibrancy and camaraderie in a unique and refreshingly Taupō way.
